200H Yoga Teacher Training (May – Jul)
Dates: May to Jul 2023
Fri (PM), Sat & Sun
Our 200H Yoga Teacher Training is designed with the curious practitioner and budding yoga facilitator in mind. Through this training programme, you will develop a good understanding of what are the benefits of yoga, yoga philosophy and history, yoga lineages, applied anatomy and physiology, biomechanics and its relation to yoga postures, ethics and scope of practice, as well as how to apply trauma-aware principles to your practice and teaching.
Graduates of this programme will in essence be able to teach classes that are:
As part of being trauma-aware, we will also cover decolonisation, anti-racism and cultural appropriation in yoga today, and how can we move forward as a community in the wake of scandals and abuses by yoga schools and gurus. These elements are key components of our post-lineage approach when it comes to teaching yoga, one that is non-dogmatic and still respectful to the cultural roots of yoga.
We have designed this programme to be an empowering learning experience for EVERYONE - not just teachers!
This course is accredited by Yoga Alliance. Graduates of the programme would be able to register as an RYT200 upon graduation and completion of the course.
