We're excited to relaunch our Together in Birth programme, in conjunction with Wonder Births, with 2 days filled with what's most important for you to know about getting the body and psyche ready for labour and birth! This workshop is unlike any other antenatal class - expect to be more hands-on and walk away empowered with evidence-based information and tailored-to-your-body biomechanical techniques to find ease and comfort during pregnancy, labour and birth.

The workshop will be facilitated by Wonder Births Birth Doulas who are also Childbirth Educators and Prenatal Yoga Teachers, and is designed for expectant parents who are looking to enrich their experience of labouring and birth.⁣ Comprising both theory and practicum, our teaching methodology will be practice-led, evidence-based and trauma-informed - this means that you will be receiving the latest up-to-date research on birthing options and practices from active birth workers in the field. We will take a deep dive into:

  • applied anatomy & childbirth physiology: what you need to know to have an empowered birth!
  • what exercise and manoeuvres we can do for ease and comfort during pregnancy, labour and birth
  • the role of hormones and the psyche on your birth
  • knowing your birthing options and mapping your birth to get your voices heard
  • understanding birth supports & interventions, from pain relief to inductions

$550 per couple (introductory rate!)

Class size will be kept small to facilitate discussion and learning.

Who is this for?

For expectant mothers in their 2nd trimester onwards. It’s never too early to start! ⁣Highly recommended for first time parents, or parents trying for a VBAC. ⁣ ⁣
